Sintered Stone

I love the look of sintered stone, like Dekton and Neolith. Both hold up great to heat and are very hard. They are popular in European kitchens because of this. They are also used for outdoor facades and cladding on cabinets. They look amazing in a shower on the walls and floor in big pieces.
It can be used for so many areas

  • Weatherproof
  • Unaffected by heat or cold
  • Waterproof
  • Stainproof
  • Very hard to scratch
  • Easy to clean
  • Food safe and hygienic
  • Non-porous-doesn't need sealing

We have Dekton floors in our Bellevue Washington showroom Kitchen & More. My Desk is clad in Dekton and the wall beside it.

Sintered stone is man-made using particles of natural stone with pressure and heat. It mimics the natural way stone is formed deep in the earth. That is why it holds up so well to heat, unlike quartz which has a resin to hold it together. There are many reasons to use this product for your next remodel project and it looks great in an industrial style kitchen

  • Kitchen worktops
  • Bathroom vanities
  • Wall cladding
  • Flooring
  • Stairs
  • Patios and outdoor flooring
  • Exterior wall cladding
  • Fireplace surrounds
  • Spas and we rooms

You do not want to install this product yourself. The stone has a lot of internal pressure. It takes a professional to know how to properly cut the stone without it cracking. Because of how hard sintered stone is it has no flexibility so you can’t have a completely straight edge. It needs to be a little rounded so keep that in mind for sink edges or fireplace cladding.
